“Les sanglots longs des violons de l’automne blessent mon cœur d’une langueur monotone. Tout suffocant et blême, quand sonne l’heure, je me souviens des jours anciens et je pleure ; et je m’en vais au vent mauvais qui m’emporte deçà, delà, pareil à la feuille morte.”
– Paul Verlaine, Chanson d’automne (1866)

If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that I went to Paris last week-end. I haven’t been there since May and even though I did not have time for visiting or wandering around it was so refreshing to come back as I have miss this wonderful city quite a lot lately (I plan on moving there in a few months)! I went there for work, I attended the Maison & Objet exhibition. It was the first time for me and I had such a good time. I’ll be sharing my pictures from it soon so stay tuned for some decoration inspo.

We quickly shot this editorial on Monday morning while waiting for our Uber driver in our hotel’s reception room. I did not plan to shoot outfits at all that week-end but the pictures turned out to be great as it was very spontaneous. I edited them like it was taken with a 35mm to properly capture the vintage vibes and aesthetic of the place. I wish I had an old camera to shoot with, as I feel like a fraud haha! It’s on my 2018’s to do list. if you guys have any tips on what camera I should buy please let me know.
